Cherie Manzano

SEO Specialist

She's been a whole lot of things to seOverflow over the years, from administrative and logistical goddess to SEO specialist.

Cherie worked her way up from Junior Researcher to Assistant Editor of an international management magazine, did offsite editing and layout work for a multilateral finance institution, ran a startup publishing company and a professional ballet company, and then started doing home-based internet outsourcing work doing editing, writing and research, and that's how seOverflow met her! She's been with us ever since and has become an SEO junkie just like the rest of us.

Cherie telecommutes to seOverflow each day from the Philippines and trust us when we say it feels like she’s just in the next room! We’re lucky to have this multi-talented and motivated woman on the seOverflow team. Even though we can’t blame the mess in the break room on her, you can bet your bottom dollar that we try.

Geek Stuff: She was a triple major in college (Psychology, Management, and Marketing). Graduating at the top 5% of her batch, she was awarded several gold medals for outstanding work in various organizations and was the recipient of a national award for excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. Has traveled the world as a youth ambassador for Asia. Designed and executed the manuals and training materials for environmental waste management that are currently being used to train local government units all throughout her country today.

Her favorite SEO problem to solve: Finding the best SEO links and sites that would lead to more traffic and sales for our clients.

Random fact about Cherie: She’s a classically trained singer and used to sing professionally with a theater chorus in the Philippines.

Her favorite places to be: Working out at the gym with her personal trainer, in the kitchen whipping up a new dish, and rehearsing with her choir.
