Chris Hickey
Director of SEO Campaigns
While you could have an epic conversation with Chris about cycling or football, you'll most likely engage with him as the key team member heading up your company's overall strategy. Don't mistake his laid-back personality for a lackadaisical dude, though – he has a degree from Ohio University in International Business and Management Information Systems (and if you can say that three times really fast, we'll buy you a latte) and has over nine years of experience in all things SEO. He says he's used to wearing a lot of hats (we've only seen him in a baseball hat, for the record) and he proves it every day by navigating our client accounts like the guy history wishes had been at the helm of the Titanic. He's spent time in Japan as a software engineer and done his piece in the world of startups. The one thing we love about Chris is that he'll always tell you what he thinks is the best move (and the implications). We're glad he's here to take great care of our clients and share the occasional nuance of Japanese culture.
His favorite SEO problem to solve: Chris is a huge fan of helping a client identify opportunity areas, define goals, implementing a solution and seeing the end result.
If Chris could be an animal, he would be an... Eagle - they are majestic yet fierce.
Random fact about Chris: His son's name (Adler) is the German word for “eagle.”

October 6th, 2009Since moving into our new office last November, there has been a tight race forming. Number of blog posts made by yours truly vs. chairs I have destroyed. My chair of choice for the last few years has been an exercise ball. There was definitely a ‘learning curve’ to use such a chair, mainly with
