Mary Bowling Joins the seOverflow Team

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve recently joined Mike Belasco’s awesome team at seOverflow.com! As the new Director of Search Marketing, I’ll be taking care of the clients and making certain their websites keep moving towards better rankings. I’ll also be overseeing on page search engine optimization, linkbuilding and paid advertising programs.
For those of you who don’t know me, I recently left a full service internet marketing firm that specialized in travel, where I worked in all aspects of internet marketing. I’m particularly interested in Search Engine Optimization and optimizing for Local Search. I’ve spoken at several Search Engine Strategies, Search Marketing Expo and Searchfest Conferences in the past few years on the topics of Travel Marketing and Local Search and have taught Local Search in the Search Engine Strategies Training series.
I’ve written several popular white papers, including Local Search Engine Optimization and SEO for WordPress Blogs-A Non-techies’ Guide, and am a regular columnist on Local Search at ClickZ.
For fun, I ice skate at my local rink in Glenwood Springs, ski and snowboard-mostly at Sunlight Mountain Resort- and bike, hike and raft around western Colorado and eastern Utah.
